Meet Madison

Madison Wolf, B.S. (Nutrition and Dietetics)

Hey there!  My name is Madison and I am a nutritionist who specializes in paleo nutrition, blood sugar balance, inflammation reduction and digestive health.

If you’re tired of diets that don’t work, experts telling you to eat less and exercise more, struggling to lose weight, striving to find balance between health and happiness, or you’re just plain fed up with bad nutrition advice, then you’re in the right place.

Constant tiredness, skin irritations, pain and digestive problems are not issues you should accept as part of life. You deserve to feel good again, thrive and enjoy life. I’ll be your guide and show you how to harness the power of real, whole food nutrition into a lifestyle that’s healthy, balanced and sustainable.

I’ve made it my passion to help YOU become the best version of yourself. Without judgment or dogma. Without any gimmicks, supplements sales, or nonsense. My approach is scientific based, practical, and simple. We’ll work as a team to use food found in your local grocery store to get you on a path to real health. Simple as that.

I know firsthand how difficult it can be to navigate nutrition information within the vast sea that is internet and nutrition “professionals” who are only after your money. After struggling with cystic acne, migraines and joint aches for the later part of my teenage years and early twenties, I sought out some relief that I wasn’t getting from traditional doctors. I was told to “eat healthy” but never was I taught what that actually meant. I continued eating my processed cereals, low-fat yogurts and even dabbled in veganism to see if this would change my health. Hint: It only made it worse.

Relief from my terrible acne and sky-high inflammation came over the course of many years of diet and lifestyle changes. Looking back, I wish I knew then what I know now, for the struggle and desperation of dealing with these conditions would have been far less. If only I would have known that the foods I thought were healthy were directly contributing to my pain.

That’s why I am on a mission now to educate people to take charge of their own health using food. To heal and empower you when you feel discouraged, when you’ve tried everything, and feel like there’s no more options. I’m on this mission because I’ve been there and I know how disheartening it can be to feel like your body isn’t yours anymore.

I offer one-on-one nutrition coaching to people all around the world who are looking to improve their health. I also offer cooking demonstrations, grocery store tours and nutrition presentations to companies and groups in the Boise metro area. Visit my Services page to learn more. A few facts about me...

-I recently got married to my wonderful husband on a sunny day in May in a small courthouse ceremony.

-We have a four year old rescue pup, a lab-mix named Leo. He’s very spoiled and very much our “fur-child”.

-I generally eat a Paleo centered diet that now includes some gluten free grains like rice and quinoa, high quality dairy and chocolate on the regular.

-I don’t stress about what I eat, and understand there is no “perfect diet”.

-I grew up in Lakewood, Colorado and recently moved to the Boise, Idaho area with my husband.

-Breakfast is by far my favorite meal of the day – I usually eat a BIG breakfast everyday.

-I enjoy yoga, weight-lifting, walking with my pup, hiking and generally just being active outside!
